Our Doctors

All of the physicians at Lakeview Pediatrics are board certified pediatricians by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Janice Salem founded Lakeview Pediatrics in 1995. She attended Rush Medical College and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is board certified in pediatrics.

 

 

Dr. Audrey Chang has been with Lakeview Pediatrics since 1999. She attended Rice University and the University of Texas Medical School. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital. In addition to being board certified in pediatrics, she has a special interest in asthma and behavioral disorders.

 

 

Dr. Jennifer Newport has been with Lakeview Pediatrics since 2005. She received her undergraduate training from Stanford University and graduated from the Mayo Medical School. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. In addition to being board certified in pediatrics, she has particular interest in developmental/behavioral pediatrics and chronic disease management.

 

 

Dr. Meryl Perlman joined Lakeview Pediatrics in 2006. She received her undergraduate education at Harvard University. She completed medical school at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine, and afterwards, her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to being board certified in pediatrics, her interests include gastroenterology.

 

 

Dr. Alison Gehle joined Lakeview Pediatrics in August 2008.  She received her undergraduate and medical school training from the University of Michigan.  She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of California San Francisco.  She is board certified in pediatrics.

   

 

Dr. Christine Janowiak joins Lakeview Pediatrics in July 2010.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and medical school training from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.  She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Her interests include behavior and development, adolescent health and obesity prevention.
