Janice Salem, MD

Dr. Janice Salem founded Lakeview Pediatrics in 1995. She attended Rush Medical College and completed her residency in pediatrics at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She is a certified "Mindful Practice" teacher, bringing mindfulness to the practice and teaching of medicine. She has recently received a certification from Columbia University in NYC in a Narrative Medicine certification program.

Dr Salem retired from practice in December 2019, but the spirit of mindfulness in medicine she cultivated remains a driving force in the care of our patients and team.
